I was trying to install red hat 64 bit iso ( rhel-server-7.4-x86_64-boot.iso ) on vmware player. But, I got stuck at the installation part itself. Though I have downloaded the 300+ MB iso, it is still asking me for the network location. Can anybody please help me in specifying the ISO location.
Moreover, I am not able to copy between vmwqare player and windows.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are downloading the incorrect ISO:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 Boot ISO
Rhel 6 Iso Download 64 Bit Version
A minimal boot image which can be used to boot the installation program, but requires access to additional package repositories from which software will be installed. Red Hat does not provide such a repository; you must create it using the full installation ISO image.
You actually want the following ISO
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 Binary DVD
A full installation image which can be used to boot the installation program and perform an entire installation without additional package repositories.

From CentOS Project: CentOS developers use Red Hat's source code to create a final product very similar to Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Red Hat's branding and logos are changed because Red Hat does not allow them to be redistributed. CentOS is an Enterprise-class Linux Distribution derived from sources freely provided to the public by a prominent North American Enterprise Linux vendor. CentOS conforms fully to the upstream vendors redistribution policy and aims to be 100% binary compatible. CentOS is developed by a small but growing team of core developers. In turn the core developers are supported by an active user community including system administrators, network administrators, enterprise users, managers, core Linux contributors, and Linux enthusiasts from around the world.
